There was a matte painting done for RotJ when an Imperial Shuttle arrives at the Deathstar II. It's in the foreground. I noticed it when I do that film on Laserdisc after 100 viewings of the pan and scan videotape...
Someone should be cranking these out for you man. The kit design is done. You should cash in now. It'll take PL at least three years to get one out at the rate they do things.
Paper products have a moisture content to them. They CAN react to the resins and produce microbubbles under your castings' surface. I use some mixing cups I got from TAP Plastics and the resin just pops out of them when it sets up.
You're talking about the Argonoughts 1/4 scale Endoskeleton. It's actually only about 18" tall when built. It's very nice. As I was picking at the one I have last week I discovered that the NECA 18" figure is very much the same sculpt. Only it's injection molded. I am now considering...

Problem is that I bought The Empire Strikes Back version. There are very few common parts from what I can tell. I figured out that the parts I am missing are the lower two segments for one leg. Unless there are more I'm not seeing.

I got my kit today. I've got a huge problem with the leg parts. I think my legs are mis-matched.
Correction. I'm missing the lower two segments to one of the legs.
At least. I have no idea what's supposed to be in the kit without a parts...
