to your point... i think they molded it so anything is possible. i would agree drilling holes and inserting rods is a tedious task, but as I look at the photo we are referencing and I see rods and when I look at the screen grabs from the movie and see ribbed rubber. Maybe Both?

your photo has been contrasted and blurred so it's hard to see. In my original, even after despeckling to calm the halftone dot. i still see the highlight perfectly and also see the same top fade from dark to light in between that's present on top. agree to disagree i guess.

I see the highlight of that ridge between the ribs. enlarged and despeckled in psd and indicated by arrows.

Yes, I agree. it is a cast. notice no reflection in two of the lens and they are rough around edges. not as clean as the real camera.

Does the outer rim of the bino prop look thicker than the actual B&H camera. At first I thought it was focal blurring making the edge look thicker, but Poe's pinky finger is 1/4 inch away from the edge so his finger would be blurry too. Optical illusion?

I'm still not 100%. Maybe I'll take a photograph of the prop with donut added in the same perspective, overlay them in PSD to see if they are the same proportion. I also experimented with removing the black dial completely before adding the greeblie. Doing this, created more space for the...

While searching 6 pin din plugs I ran across a specific variety of plug that was similar in shape to the greeblie needed. it's not the exact plug but may steer us into another direction. Search "Circular MIL Spec Connector" raised circular shape with square plate with 4 holes at each corner...

Could this piece be the greeblie for the front bottom circle port?? This was the crank nut. Once flipped, it matches the thickness of the doughnut greeblie needed?!! the grooves on the top fit over the filter buttons finger pull (black knob) perfectly. locks in place like it was meant to be.

    ANH stormtrooper from do3d.com

I would stay away! Aside from the vendor, the printer lines would need to be filled, sanded and painted. Seems like a lot of time and money just to fabricate TK armor. Also keep in mind its the fit of the armor not the kit. If you are serious about white armor you can learn more at FISD...
