I recently got sent some pics of the belt I made for this being put to good use that I thought some of you might enjoy seeing as well: Cosplayer: Marc Morisseau, Photography: Nikolaus Evangelista, Helmet: Scott Lang Paul (modified by Marc), Suit: thejacketmaker.com, Boots: Amazon.com –...

Foam Ant-Man Utility Belt with Template and Build Instructions

Thanks guys! This is what I used here http://www.strapworks.com/Lightweight_Polypropylene_p/lwp112.htm but it doesn't really matter. Most craft stores sell a roll of black nylon webbing that would work great as well. Just get something 1.5 inches wide or smaller to best fit with the design.

And again the same for the L/K pieces onto the J/I pieces. Note how they are oriented on the final belt. Cut a length of 1.5 inch strap webbing long enough to wrap around your waist and thread back through the buckle hardware, along with some extra length for size adjustment. I used 1.5″...

Foam Ant-Man Utility Belt with Template and Build Instructions

For the 12 K/L pieces use 2mm for L and 3mm for K. Also note that for half of the pieces, L is flipped over. Use a dremel to smooth the edges. Cut E and F out of 2mm foam. For F1-4 (2mm as well), try to use the hole punch set for as many of the circles as possible, and then use scissors for...

Foam Ant-Man Utility Belt with Template and Build Instructions

Glue one Y perpendicular to the middle of one O. Next glue an N onto both sides, and finally one Q on top. When gluing, make the N’s and Q as flush as possible with O. Repeat the steps to make one more identical piece. Glue one Y perpendicular to the middle of one U, and two T’s to the sides...

Foam Ant-Man Utility Belt with Template and Build Instructions

Hey again folks, I wanted to share my latest project- Ant-Man's utility belt: I made the template in Gimp, and then assembled everything out of EVA foam. Here's the final template: http://www.thefoamcave.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Template-for-Ant-Man-Belt.pdf And now on to the...

Age of Ultron Captain America Gauntlets with Template

Thanks! Hmm, I would think not directly attached to the foam, but if you could attach the magnets to the nylon webbing underneath the foam, and then cut a window in the foam to expose the magnets, that could potentially work.

Need Some Advice on My Finished Capt America Helmet...

Looks good. My vote is to either remove the ear holes all together, or just make them shorter so the gap doesn't look so big. But, yeah with the cowl it probably won't be noticed much either way.

New to cosplay but want to try out EVA foam builds

Sure thing man. I wouldn't bother with a hot knife for now. Just a good pair of scissors and a very sharp knife.

New to cosplay but want to try out EVA foam builds

I love very thin eva foam sheets- 2, 3, and 5mm thick, from Hobby Lobby and other similar craft stores, also online from an ebay seller named wandy-foam. And cut almost exclusively with scissors instead of knives, as I find scissors to be much easier to get nice smooth cuts with especially along...

Age of Ultron Captain America Gauntlets with Template

Hey 14th, dimensions will vary depending on the thickness of the foam you use. When using 3mm and 5mm thick foam like in the pics, they will be something like this: Overall outer diameter: 4 inches Length: 5.5 inches without hand guard, about 8 inches with Inside wrist circumference: 9 inches...

Thanks! Aura is a regular indoor acrylic/latex paint. I like it as a base coat because you can slap it on pretty thick (depending on the design of the object) and it does a great job of self- leveling, giving you a nice and smooth surface. It also has pretty good hide, covering the color of the...
