The Phantom Belt and Gun build

Forgive me, my computer is playing mind games with me.

The Phantom Belt and Gun build

It seems a lot of things I posted here and elsewhere just aren't showing up! I had a question about the belt buckle- mine is 3D printed and I have fastened it so far with adhesive Velcro strips. But they don't last and leave a sticky residue that Goo-Gone doesn't work very well on. How should I...

The Phantom Belt and Gun build

I have one question- My buckle is 3D printed and I am not sure what is the best way to attach it to the belt and to make it adjustable when fastening. I have gotten away with Velcro up until now, bought I want something more sure and less sticky.

    Raiders money

I don't know, but there is a site that has hi-res scans of out-of-circulation currencies from around the world. If I can find it I will post it here. I use it to make my own era-accurate monies, and I put a simple Indy logo on them so I am not accused of counterfeiting. It's fun to hand them out...

    Apollo A7L Spacesuit Build

If you don't have a base for your helmet (I tried making one from cardstock and tape and another from EVA foam) then search for the Dark Voyager helmet from Fortnight. It needs a repaint, but it already has a smokey visor. I have tried several things to make a visor, but honestly, without a...

    Original styled Red Robin cowl

The Red Robin cowl turned out pretty well despite the problems. It was fun to go back over this cosplay and upgrade it almost completely.

    Apollo A7L Spacesuit Build

I am just starting my build of an A7L. I am making mine mainly for library events where I work. Our theme this summer is space. It won't be anything close to an exact replica, and I am trying to keep costs down as much as possible. For the neck rings I got some 12" sewing hoops and plan to...

    Original styled Red Robin cowl

The mask is still sticky, ironically not where the Plastidip is thickest. The mask is either rubber or vinyl.

    Titans Robin Armor

How small would a Cricut cut? If you have access to one you could create a template, and use it as a stencil to spray paint the pattern on. I had a friend do something similar to his Captain America pants and it looked great

    Original styled Red Robin cowl

I cut and laid down the ears. A couple of layers of plastidip were applied to hide the seams and black spray paint was put over that. The problem I am having now is it seems to be very sticky in some places. I haven't encountered this before. Any suggestions on how to dry it out or cure it...

Awesome! What did you choose for the light source?

    Original styled Red Robin cowl

I am looking to convert a Batman cowl (one from Batman V Superman) into a Red Robin cowl. The ears on the mask are hollow but very short. My initial idea is to cut along the lines of the ears so it makes three flaps. Then I would lay the top flap down, cut away from the other two flaps whatever...

    Capt. Marvel "Shazam" costume

Ideally, I would like to find a cardinal red jumpsuit/flightsuit and add a matching swatch of fabric to to attach to the chest and abdomen of the costume, probably with snaps.

    Capt. Marvel "Shazam" costume

I am wanting to have/make a Captain Marvel costume. I need to decide what kind of cloth would be best. I want something that will maintain it's color and have a little stretch to it. I don't plan to tailor the outfit to be skin tight, but the fabric needs to give when I stretch or move as...
