The first foot is officially done printing. I placed it by the bust to show it’s scale. Will start on one of the legs tonight. This thing is going to be huge.
It is slow going. Have had a few issues with my printer, but I am back up and running... shoulder caps are done. Eyes are cut out and 1/6 of one foot is off the bed. Eye balls are selected. More updates to come.
I just got my first 3D printer this year and feel like I am getting the hang of it. I have many projects planned but a life sized adult Groot is 1st on the docket. Should take about 4 - 5 months.
The head came out pretty good, I am working on the neck and shoulders now.
