Experiment with Fabric Paint for Synthetics. Buy similar material from fabric store (swatches) and experiment with the various colors. I'd get red, black, white, and pink to mix and test colors.

Believe me I have tried everything for my 'stache. I even tried alcohol based paint on my 'stache and it looked good but it wasn't light enough because of my darker colored hair. That may be a method to try. I just ended up overlaying trimmed human hair on top of my own hair. A hair stylist...
