I think, to colour match the wood, you should go with the first picture where the wand is more at an angle then the second picture. It looks like there was a lot of light in the second picture. And I have not yet...
And my take on Harrys Wand. The Noble Collection wand is just for size comparision. Not sure that the wood stain, I used is the best one but I think it looks alright.
