most of the time they are made out of an industrial aluminum alloy. which is why they bend and flex but dont break easily. which i dont have the capability or time to do.

well i could melt some steel all i would need to do is craft a model in clay make a mold and cast in steel, it wouldnt be practical obviously. however it would be cool and most realistic to the film version.
