I get my happy on by sculpting, making silicon molds, casting resin, making movie props, and costuming in the greater Seattle area. I have been fascinated with sculpting since I was very young, but had a hard time finding teachers back where I grew up. After some anatomy sculpting classes from a fantastic gal from Seattle, I cut my teeth (professionally) working with a team that produced the master sculpts of Master Chief, Bugger, Brute, and the Flood Form from the Halo II action figure line back in 2000.
Since then I have been part of many large and small scale projects, even working with my mentor down in San-Diego, CA at a magic convention where I got to sculpt a fantastic dragon. I loved it so much I made one for myself to have hanging out in the back yard.
I have sewn cosplay outfits for quite a few people up north here, and even got to try my hand at building props from the ground up for Star Trek, Renegades. (I am credited as the mold maker, but I sculpted the Syphon staff weapon and their data pad).
I love to sculpt heads for Ball Jointed Dolls but mostly feed my need to sculpt by doing 18mm miniatures of my WOW toons.
I have just turned my passions to 1:1 sculpts and have plans to weld up armature for a WOW male Troll. I can't wait to have life size toons hanging out on my property.
I am passionate about the art of creation. Any field of creation. Raw materials becoming Magic!
