Announcement Welcome to the RPF's Forum Upgrade Support Thread

Holy cow,I kept hitting my refresh button on my iPad for that past 4 days and the website still kept taking me to the old upgrade notice. Then I decide to just kill the tab and open a new one to open the link. You guys have been back since Wednesday. I was going nuts waiting. So happy it’s all...

Bulldog Props M38 & M19 Resin Scope Project

Yes, the BlastFX display is amazing. Paul W. from TRamp makes these crazy cool things. Another community member Lee M. Also a regular on the BlastFX page, has kindly designed an insert for the display that fits in my scope kit.

If you can't ever find a replacement, PM me and I can send you a resin copy. The outer retaining ring is a standard fit for most of these scopes so if you find a scrapper M38/M40, you can use the ring from those. I have not tested any but the M47A2 or M38A2 rings may also fit as well...

I think you are putting in the lens assembly backwards. After you have the lenses all installed in the lens assembly then it should be assembled like this. Screw in the lens assembly first, non-threaded end first(end with the inner retaining ring ). The notches on the front face ring of the...

To put it back together , first the double sided convex lens goes in the large lens assembly/holder, next the plain brass ring/spacer, then the thick one sided convex lens- convex end facing the brass ring, and lastly the retaining ring with the threaded end screwing in -notched end facing...

These are hard screws to find and replace. Plus there is a tiny spring washer directly under each stew head, be careful not to loose this if you ever remove the original screws.sometimes with all the dirt and gunk, they can easily be missed.

I disassembled my scopes so I could cast them part for part. Maybe edraven99 wanted to clean the lenses. I would agree it can be a risky job if you strip the notches while unscrewing the rings plus if you don’t re-assemble it correctly (fully taking out the prisms and central reticle) you can...

    M19 telescope mhr 1942 build

It looks like you have screwed in the lens assembly on the threaded end first. That needs t be screwed in the opposite way. The non-threaded end is inserted first. Once you do that, screw it in far enough so you can screw in the retainer ring. You might have to play with the depth of the lens...
