I only spot clean the fur when needed. I feel if you put it through a wash cycle it may wash out. The fur collar is synthetic. This dye will not sink i to the fibers, it just adheres to the surface. Hope this helps

You can use something similar to this ,I’ve used this brand to darken synthetic fibers before. Worked well.

900 grams is just over 2lbs.... will the resin be fragile .... not saying I’m gonna be playing American football with it. A gallon of water weighs in a 8.35 lbs approx...so a 1/4 of that ... which sounds like a US. quart of resin will be the final product weight .. is this right? I’m not...

MAJ, RIT dye won’t work on the fur, synthetic require the material to be boiled and submerged in the dye bath.

This what I did for a “K” sweater backup if I don’t come across an original, nothing against Craig’s authentic piece for sale. I bought a brooks brothers sweater in navy, bought some RIT dye and gave it a soaking.
