And spot putty applied. I’ll let this cure over night and I’ll smooth it down tomorrow.

Done one round of sanding and some filler primer. Not bad for the first round of finishing.

    Infinity Gauntlet Build

After nearly 3 days of printing the first half of the arm is done printing. Pulled it off the print bed this morning and began the 2nd one. Took nearly my whole printing space. I’ve been trying to smooth out the hand as much as I could. I nearly destroyed the front chipping away at the...

    Infinity Gauntlet Build

Finished printing the fingers today. 72 hours of printing. Going to let the printer rest for a day or so before another 5-6 days of printing the arm.

    Infinity Gauntlet Build

Finished sanding and given is a light coat of XTC3D for a finishing coat. This stuff is great. Self leveling and prefect for getting a smooth finish on small details like the front of this glove. Just be careful not to go overboard when applying it. Fingers should be finished up tomorrow...

    Infinity Gauntlet Build

I just got done with round one of sanding the palm and I organized the stones. I’ll hit the palm up with a couple coats of rustoleum filler primer next and give the stone a light mist of regular primer to be sure they are good to cast later on. After I paint these I’ll touch up the deep...

    Infinity Gauntlet Build

Finished the palm and stones this evening. Seriously great quality! Printed the stones the best quality my printed could put out. Figured it would be easier to give them a light coat of XTC-3D and prime them prior to molding. Started sanded on the palm with some 220. I’ll take the texture off...

    Infinity Gauntlet Build

Been working on 74-Z Speeder Bike from Return of the Jedi for a few months. Not gonna lie. I’m a little burnt out. So I thought I’d make a Infinity Gauntlet from Avengers Infinity War. I want this to be pretty big but the real one is 68 cm tall. That’s a monster and I don’t want to wear this...

    74-Z Speeder Bike Build.

Happy holidays RPF. Sad news. Bike took a big tumble the other night and broke off parts of the forks. Looks ugly but it can be reattached more securely. I will be getting new front plates laser cut from acrylic. Should be a lot stronger. Been side hustling during the holidays to get myself...

    74-Z Speeder Bike Build.

So I am trying to plan the guts of my handlebars support before I start going full throttle on them. I need them to be sturdy and I’m willing to sacrifice accuracy for practicality. I going to make them pretty much straight instead of a compound bow. I made a small mock up of the shape out of...

    74-Z Speeder Bike Build.

My wife and I have an agreement for now about my 10’ bike in the apartment. She’s got the rest of the apartment for her hobbies and I have the one room. Works for me haha. I would do it if I were you. I thought it was rewarding and cool to walk around families and kids in full biker scout...

    74-Z Speeder Bike Build.

I got some PMs from folks on here and Facebook with advice and tips. Seems like spray foam or the foam sheets layered with aluminum foil and resin and body filler will be the way to go. It’s going to be a bit until I have an update. Feeling burnt out this week. Stay tuned though
