    TNG first watch, seasons 1-7

So this is a bit of a resurrection... I have finally finished watching TNG! There was some really great stuff in the last few seasons, a few clunkers but I enjoyed them all in one fashion or another. The finale was interesting ( not great), however for me those characters finished up with...

Things you're tired of seeing in movies

It depends how long the person has been dead, they usually don't stay closed, neither does the mouth (though films rarely show that). Mortuary glue is used for keeping eyes and mouth closed for presentation of the deceased.

Lets talk all things Star Wars

Nobody is shoving opinions down anyone's throat, just voicing an opinion isn't forcing it on somebody. Now, open wide...the OT is awesome! ;)(y)

Lets talk all things Star Wars

You don't have to admit something's bad or apologize for liking it. Nor should you be driven up the wall because some disagrees with your own subjective opinion. I think Halloween (the film) is hot garbage but that's just my opinion. There are lots of reasons I hold that opinion based on the...

Star Trek: Questions you always wanted answers to

It moves at the speed of plot! ;)

Lets talk all things Star Wars

We've all got to make a living, I'd take that paycheck in a heartbeat. I don't think either is as concerned about their "legacy" or even the franchise as much as enjoying their later years in comfort.

Lets talk all things Star Wars

That looks ridiculously bad! The article reads like it was soaked in sarcasm then rolled in sugar. I love how it's presented like "we got Daniels, Williams and Tran!" instead of "none of the other actors were interested". Thank goodness Disney stepped in to save the "franchise".

Lets talk all things Star Wars

So....the people who read and create these books can't enjoy a fantasy story? that seems like a strange position to take. What's that? People having a fun conversation about a film series we ALL enjoy? Let me just....

But, but, but.....he was the GOOD GUY! Totally agree, it was rigged against killmonger.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (Post-release)

People that get paid more than us unfortunately.

Lets talk all things Star Wars

It is, however the topic doesn't need an explanation for the film to make sense. This more about fans wanting an explanation rather than the story needing one.

Lets talk all things Star Wars

That's precisely why I put quotes on the word "twist".

Lets talk all things Star Wars

The fact that Ian McDiarmid was in the movie pretty much ruined that "twist" even if the name Palpatine had never been uttered. Not too mention he plays the character way too on the nose from the start. Don't get me wrong, seeing IM chew the scenery is one of the best things about the PT but his...

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (Post-release)

Luke didn't need to "beat" Vader and Palpatine in order to defeat them and I seriously doubt that more training would have given him the ability to "turn" Palpatine away from darkness. Delving into fanfiction: if Luke stayed on Dagobah, Vader would have discovered that Leia was his daughter and...

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (Post-release)

Yoda's warning had nothing to do with the ST, it's part of a self contained story told in 3 parts. He apparently only needed to confront Vader (per Yoda in ROTJ) to become a Jedi rather than continue training. There's plenty of holes in the Jedi "wisdom" from Yoda and Obi in the OT, adding in...
