You can still get an X-1 directly from Vanson here: WOLVERINE Just be prepared for a few month wait. It usually takes a while from them. Maybe even 6months+. They call it the WOLVERINE Model: WOLF DBRN

I just listed my Vanson Wolverine Jacket in the Junkyard if anyone is interested. Its a size 38 and is just too small on me. Super cool jacket. I wish it fit! I'm going to have to see if I can order a larger size from Vanson or maybe just go for the Bates.

I received my set yesterday! They are really nice. Ive tweaked with them a lot today to get them to fit right and they are LEGIT. I know the waiting sucks, but Im sure you will get yours and be glad to have them in the end.

I'll chime in as superdrool hasn't. I also own the Heron X2 custom made in extra heavy leather. I imagine its around 1.3mm. I do wear it as my primary motorcycle jacket and it has broken in great. I haven't seen any of Dan's Wolverine Vanson's in person, but I have seen Vanson's in person and...

Re: Ebay Wolverine jackets any good? I am only 5' 8" and 158lbs and I wear a Small heron. It was a custom order though so they have all my measurement. Im sure the Medium is way too big for you. It may cost you a lot to have it tailored (at least $75 but probably more in the $150 range...
