The metal bits, barrel, and strange forward assembly were all from a vintage golf caddie. The polished cone is a light fixture.
I later painted the base a steel grey, and added copper nail details.
The dials are simply printed on good quality paper. Under glass they look like the real thing. I pulled the dial housing from some old clocks.
