Close up of the scabbard tip, metal tape over 1/8th inch board...The metal tape is fragile but gleams and reflects really well and the board I cut up from the backs of old drawing tablets I had laying around...easily workable and the metal tape water resists well this whole sculpture will be sitting outside for about 3 weeks in northern California beach town weather: misty in morning and hot and sunny in afternoon.
