Predator Dreads

I've made these Predator Dreads from backer rods, I snipped the ends then sand papered them into a point, then I dipped the dread into liquid latex for 3 hours and then I hung them to dry. Because the sandpaper makes the backer rod rough the latex sticks to it and when dry it is very flexible.
Yes the Latex did, I don't know how flexible a proper dread is but the ones I've made are very light and very flexible, as long as you use the dipping method and not paint it on and sand down the whole dread. If you give it a try let me know what you think.

I used backer rods and only coated them in plasti-Dip, which did make them more flexible. Now I am going to try this sanding and dipping method next!

Yea try it out and let me know what you think, I'm sure your be happy with the results.
