Description:
Isolinear rods are long, thin and cylindrical in shape, having a translucent dark amber tint. These small rods interface with information storage and processing devices which are employed by the Cardassian Union aboard their starships and other facilities. Quark used Isolinear Rods as a way to bypass the DS9 security system and to store various information and programs.
Construction:
This box was constructed from a plastic index card box and gold metallic paint. Plexiglass shapes and stickers for decoration.
Rods are extruded amber plastic with Metallic Chrome tape.
