A model of Matt Smith's Tardis Interior I have made for my son to play with his 5" figures.
It was scratch built using a multitude of reference material, including the AFT's great work on their Tardis and a lot of guess work.
The lighting for it was predominantly shop bought LED's, for some of the more specific lighting areas I made contact with some extremely helpful people who specialise in EL wire, Fibre Optics and LED's.
