This is my real first attempt at building a prop cosplay gun. I made a Steampunk gun last year out of PVC and bits and put it together on the fly. This year I started off with sketches, drew up a blueprint on the computer and started constructing. I have to have it complete and boxed for shipping in two weeks. Incidentally I also have to build the box and custom foam inserts so it doesn't get messed up in the mail. This will be my gun at Dragon*Con 2011 in Atlanta.
