paints for a rubies star trek uniform

I have recently purchased a star trek rubies nemisis uniform top. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas what would make good bottems to match them. I have tried black dress paints and black sweats but they all look goofy. Any ideas?
 
I had that costume at one time. As I recall the rubies one is all polyester, all I did was use all polyester black dress pants (no pleats). You just need to look around to find a pair that matches the matierial. You could also get a pattern and sew them yourself... but I'm kind of partial to having pockets.
