I finally got around to getting some decent pictures of this so now is as good a time as any to start my thread.

It was milled on a shopbot in 2" pink insulation foam (HUGE mistake), rough molded and cast, detailed, then finish molded for the final product.

Pictures are in more or less chronological order.

I really need to get a better camera. :wacko
 
It has a light at the front, just below the barrel. Right now it's held in by friction, but I'd like to perma-mount it and run a switch up near the stock of the gun.

There is a ton of electronics work that can be done with this gun. Now to find the time for it....
 
Very nice! Love the look of the AR. Very cool. Not one of my favorite weaps in the game, but it works in a pinch. :lol

That said, when I do use it, I go a little crazy in-game with it :cool

I would love to see how you do the electronics in the AR though. I don't think that it would be too hard, but I haven't done much with electronics myself, so I'm going to be overly cautious.
