SDCC pictures of hot girls thread

I cannot wait until SDCC pics start showing up on imgur, reddit, and tumblr.

Responses to the pics tend to fall into three general categories:

1) The horny 14 year old responses (i.e. - "boobies!", "10/10 would smash," etc.)

2) The standard responses (i.e. - "Step 1: Be hot...", "Cosplay", etc)

3) The SJW/Feminazi responses (i.e. - "Men are mysoginist pigs for these comments", "That woman is perpetuating the idea of women as sex objects", etc)

You know what I do when I see a pic of a cosplayer?

1) Mentally critique the cosplay and maybe comment if it's exceptionally good.

2) Read the comments and respond to egregiously bad ones.

3) Eat popcorn.

4) Secretly say BOOBIES in my head as I look.

Come on.... We know the truth ;)
I fixed that got you :)

What I say in my head is not the same as what I say out loud or what I post on the internet, mainly because many of the thoughts I have are not only NSFW, but NSFL (Not Safe For Life) and NSFS (Not Safe For Sanity). What I say aloud or post online is the "Edited For Afternoon Programming on Children's Networks" version of what's going on in my head.

For a niche community of people who are into sci-fi/fantasy, RPF actually has a pretty sizable female population.

That really doesn't hold up anymore; nerd culture is no longer a male-centric space, and the implication that it is isn't backed by data anymore. Multiple surveys and studies suggest that female attendance of conventions and comic readers is somewhere around half or more than half. Beyond that, it is very obvious that costuming attracts female participants, as noted by this thread, some of which are incredibly skilled at their constructions. If there is a limited audience of women here, there is a reason. This has been brought up many times on the RPF Facebook group, usually as a reaction to poor behavior, and I have seen multiple women outright say, "comments like this are why I don't post here, because I know posting my photos to this community would turn to this." It's worth thought.
