Anyone have any glove/armor templates?

I have been thinking of making a new piece, and I can't really find much that I need off of a google search.

I am looking for something along the lines of Iron Man type armor for hands, but not specifically Iron Man. The idea is to replicate a robotic hand/glove setup out of styrene and whatever little greeblies I have laying around, so there isn't a specific style or one I am trying to match.

Most of my searches for this ended up with knights armor plating, and while that is close, I was hoping for something that actually encloses parts of the fingers.

The ideal goal here is just something that looks cool, and is a hybrid of Ash's arm from AoD and Mark 2-6 Iron Man gauntlets. Again, no specific design in mind, just a "build it, add stuff to it, make it look cool, and burn some free time." type of project.

I think the only real "requirement" that I can imagine for it is that it is right handed if possible. I would like to make it wearable in case I decide to do something for halloween but it isn't a firm requirement.

So.. any help or info is greatly appreciated my friends!
Chris

PS - Mods, you can move this to the costume forum if you want, I wasn't sure where it best fit.

If anyone has anything remotely like the Iron Man patterns, those would be a great start.

Danke!
