sandman ds gas valve question

hi all

does anyone know what the internal valve is called on the sandman ds pistol please ??

thats on the reproduction ds guns

FWIW I learned somewhere decades ago that the valves on the originals were taken from Match-o-matic lighters. It is widely repeated that those valves didn't hold up well.

I still have several of those, in boxes even... I originally got them as they were modified to be used as weapons in Buck Rogers.

That one in pic is from Rylo's model gun....really "upgraded" to say the least compared to the screen-used guns valves !!!

I've got a spare one lying around if you need it an know how to use it.

To be clear not one of Rylo's. I have one from the Aussie maker DS Props.
