V fighter Studio Scale model

Hi everyone !!

With all the seeming interest lately in the new "V" TV series, and guys showing
off their classic miniseries models, I thought I'd post some of my work here.
A few of you may know I've been working on the original "V" miniseries shuttle
for some time now. I had a casting of one of the larger studio models and decided
to fabricate some accurate landing gear to go with it. I also designed a set of decals, since the studio casting didn't come with any.




I've also finished off a scratch-built passenger module for the model, which will lock into the front and back model halves with metal rods.

These were made using measurements taken from the actual studio model, supplied to me by the owner of an original. The parts are very accurate. I desihgned them to be able to be made into any version seen in the show, from the three-segmented "squad vehicle" to the strech limo troop carrier version.

Hey Jim.. Yeah got the email, just don't have funds at the moment to get them.. Definitely will be grabbing it in the near future.. Outstanding job on it..
