Bram here, I'm a fairly new member. I joined a few weeks ago, and have meant to do an introduction, but all the amazing build threads keep distracting me! I'm fairly new to prop making. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so my first suit is a custom Mando for the Mando Mercs club. I'm also helping my friend with his iron man suit. We have a little page together called BD Props, and we post all of our WIP stuff there. I would love to make a Rocketeer costume, and a bunch of others (I have a big list that keeps growing). Here's my main project so far!

I understand the knee isn't 100% accurate, I'm basing them off of Boba, I don't want an exact copy (yet)

Hi Folks,

I look forward to learning even more about prob building!

Hey...

I'm Jim, a.k.a. The Honorable Reverend Dr. James Darkness. You may call me Reverend. Or Doctor. Or... uh... Jim. Whatever. Just don't call me @&& or &!(# or ^@+#$&{~($& unless I'm really being one.

I've been lurking for a while, following various pep and/or foam construction threads. I'm a sci-fi, comic, and horror geek. I'm planning a couple of foam pep builds based on the voluminous information contained within this forum, and hope to create share something wonderful using the creative and informative tutorials and pictorials so graciously and generously offered here.

Hey guys!

I've been lurking around these forums and the 405th for quite some time and figured I should actually contribute.

I located in Missouri, USA. I've followed a ton of builds and researched a fair amount and figure I'll give it a go. So far it's been pretty fun, although time consuming.

Thanks for all the information on the forums! I've found all kinds of little tricks I can use :D

Howdy Everyone,

It's a pleasure to be here, my name is David and I'm an artist with 36 years of experience in both commercial and fine art. These days I'm painting works for Acme Archives Direct of LA, my galleries and teaching. I've done several works based on the Nautilus from Disney's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and an illustration of the Ark of the Covenant. I've also worked in the digital arts since the late '90's and today work on personal projects. I look forward to learning about the RPF and joining in the fun.

Warmest Wishes,

David

Hey all my name is James new here, big Star Wars fan. I have a complete ROTJ imperial guard that needs some soft part adjustments. I want to eventually build a ROTJ Boba Fett and a Sandtrooper for sure. My son wants to build some halo armor, and possibly a SW Republic Commando. Probably be more of a learner than a teacher here since I'm new to prop building and Cosplay.

hey everyone! i am a makeup fx artist mainly and also a prop/replica and model builder. i love making replicas from my favorite movies, for me the best stages are searching for reference pics (its like a form of meditation to me :) ) and the actual construction. i enjoy making and filming model scenes (mainly spaceships!) i specialise in special effects make up and prop building but operate in the (almost) full fx trade. my favorite movies are... hmm... blade runner/ raiders/ all of the ridley scott universe/ old star wars films/ kill bill and hundreds more... anyway, i joined rpf to get assistance with projects and mainly to see if i can help others! :D

Hello folks,

My name is Sean and I am a longtime tabletop hobbyist and have recently gotten into prop replication and costuming as well. I am an avid science fiction and fantasy fan and don't limit myself to one fandom. I'm located on the east coast of the United State and go to as many conventions as my wallet can safely get me to. The majority of my experience is with painting, miniatures, displays, and all kinds of model kits.

I joined because I figured this was one of the best places to get advice and experience with working on props, and I follow you guys on Facebook.

Couple years ago I decided to build my childhood dream car from Knight Rider. After two long winter My K.I.T.T. was ready and after that my whole family has enjoyed many adventures with our talking car.
I have been interested the props and gadgets of James Bond, The Avengers, Dr Who, etc. for a long time, but couple months ago I started to plan building my own TARDIS after my son also interested the Dr Who. At the moment I'm making plans and some prototypes of parts. An actual build will happen in summer. Because then will be lesser snow and little warmer :D

Here is two pics of my K.I.T.T.

Hello!

My name is Jon, and I like building things. I am a big fan of anime, comics, and video games and have done a little cosplaying before. I am interested in making props and I am here to share what I make and learn from everyone's experience.

Hello,

I'm Luke, been going to conventions for a few years now. I'm primarily a comic-book Fanboy, but I generally like all nerdy/geeky things. Just made my first attempt at Cosplaying at the Sci-Fi Expo in Dallas. I went as the Arrow. It was there, I met a member of the site, and he suggested I should join. Since then I've been hooked on this site, such much great info and so many talented people. I hope to contribute to the community in the future.

Right now I'm working on upgrading my Arrow cosplay. Recreating the Vigilante Recurve Season 1 Bow, along with several alterations to the base leather suit. Next convention I plan to attend is the big Dallas Comic-con in May.
