The evolution of two 5" Plastruct acrylic hemispheres

I cut the outside frame for the canopy out of the two styrene pulls.

It was pointed out to me that my canopy frame was too thin, and that they actually cut that out of the same acrylic ball.

Thank you for the tip, and here's the correction.

And that was the RIGHT answer! :) I've been off the boards a little bit, if you've posted about this I'd missed it. Was so hoping that I wasn't seeing things. Nice.
 
Looks like a Daedalus class starship. Funny enough I bought some 5" hemispheres to build one (although I would rather buy one from you, lol).
