I highly recommend it!
Yah - but Dolph /is/ Nordic (Swede, I think.) He was also in the Royal Marines for whichever country - and he holds an MS in Chemical Engineering (go figure. Has a Black Belt in something-or-other as well, I think.) Probably why I enjoy him as an actor - because he's got a history of working for a living, and wasn't an actor all his life (cf: Clint Eastwood, Bruce Willis, Sean Connery, /et/ /al/.) Problem with Nordic people is they don't "darken" well - my wife is Swede/German/Irish, and she may be a "dirty blonde," but she won't darken well (best she can manage is "a bit ruddy" if she gets enough sun.) Me? I'm a dark Scot - dark brown hair, and I tend to turn olive in the Sun before I tan (which gave me help in "passing" just about anywhere - in addition to speaking most Mediterranean languages. Helpful!) As far as the knife? While I'm not overly familiar with blades, I do think the Faribairn-Sykes Commando Dagger would be a good start. Perhaps regrind and straighten the sides a bit, reduce the finger guard, and putting the skull pommel on would probably make a nice counterweight for throwing balance...The producers for the '89 film were also complaining about "Dolph's "look" and suggested that he should get a tan. :rolleyes All of the Punisher films have some good moments, but they haven't got it right yet. A few suggestions for the next one. The Punisher belongs in NYC, not Tampa of Sydney, pretending to be NYC. Film the movie in NYC. He needs a Battlevan. In War Zone, he just walked around out in the open, in costume. Italian mobsters make the best bad guys for the Punisher, so maybe try that again. I like the Micro character, just not the one portrayed in War Zone. Try it again.
