What's the name and the use of that ?

Hey guys,

Im wondering what's the name of that and what's the use ? That's some kind of I (base wider than the top) :

I found some 3 years ago when I was building my small ISD but I havent buy it because I had no use for it... But it was some kind of soft plastic (I think it's metal on the ISD), and it was about 60 cm long.
I would like to know the name to find them... I know someone posted pics of those kind of things here in the past, it was metal but I cant find it !

Looks like that plastic stuff that fits wood panel together. I don't know the name of it either.

Looks like aluminum extruded h channel.

The local building depot type places here in NZ have heaps of this in long lengths of extruded plastic plus many other shapes and sizes, I always thought when looking at this stuff what I could use it for!.

Yeah KB, that's probably what I saw at the store, it was a brown plastic.
