Master Replicas AT-AT Walker (repaint)

Looks amazing! I love the weathering and custom paint jobs people use of the mass produced MR items!

Incredible repaint job! Kudos!

I repainted my Kenner AT-AT when I was 12 or so...I wanted the Endor version! Added some mud to the feet and put silver highlights and dents in where the tree branches would have hit the thing, scratching the surface... Ah, if only Mom hadn't sold it in that fateful garage sale.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing more of your work!

Great job indeed.

This is what Master Replicas should have given us to begin with.

Version 1 of MR's AT-AT really needed more weathering. It was not a very good paint job considering the price. In fact in my opinion it was the least well done of all other MR vehicle replicas. However the Signiture Edition (version 2) i think is far supperior and I would not have touched that.

Take a look at what v1 should have been. Photos taken from Toy Fair 2004.

AWESOME job on the repaint!! LOVE IT!! :thumbsup

Really nice work, and I like your photographs as well.

Which model # AT-AT is yours? I recall there were two MR AT-ATs - I think the first one had straight legs and then the second one (yours) had the "in-mid-step" kind of action posed legs. I think one might be SW-123 and the other is SW-136, but I'm not sure which. SW-136P is the one with the signature from Phil Tippett.

Thanks and good job!

There were 2 versions and the mirrored base was V1. The second was the Signature Edition with snowy base.

I totally agree with this, that is one of the reasons I went for the Signature Edition besides the awesome base and autograph (since I collect autographs too). MR should have had the V1 a bit more dirtier.

My Master Replicas AT-AT Signature Edition #693/750. Added 4 custom made plaques autographed by Julian Glover (General Veers), Ian Liston (AT-AT Driver), Richard Bonehill (Snowtrooper) and Doug Robinson (Snowtrooper) to the original plaque signed already by Phil Tippett (visual effects producer - stop motion animator for AT-AT's in ESB). I also added an extra tall plaque with info about the walker:

WOW! If I'd spent all that money on a MR model I'd be SO scared of ruining it by making my own finishing touches buy seriously, you have knocked that out of the park! Kudos!
