L4D Hunter - Weathering tips, tape, nails

Hey everyone. I am doing a hunter for Halloween and I figured I could get some advice and opinions from some of you guys and gals here.

First off, I would like to know some good methods of weathering and fading clothing. The sweater that I am going to weather is a bit darker than the character's, but I figured that it would become lighter depending on the process. Any methods that work well?

Second thing, I am debating exactly what I should use for the wrapping. I am almost sure it is tape, but I'm not sure if I should use normal gray (it can get shiny) duct tape and just weather it, or if I should get white duct tape and add coloring. Maybe it's something totally different.

Last thing, I am going to use fake nails, but I don't want to use the normal kind of glue because that stuff is murder on the real nails. How should I stick them? I was thinking a milder glue like elmers, but I want to see what other people think.

These pics were made in 3Ds without lighting. The last one is the direct texture of the in game model. Tape texture is on the right.

Thanks ahead of time. :thumbsup
