Hi guys,

I´m finishing my Leia as Boushh life-sized mannequin and need some help with the cape.

How do you guys attach it?

Thanks for looking.

The cape is sewn directly to the "belts" on the bandoleer. Its sort of clumped together and sewn onto the shoulder, and then sewn again on the lower back.

Here is a picture of the real deal: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3192/3087282646_d3f9b5b8ab_o.jpg

I use snaps to attach it to my suit. But thats just for ease of packing. I could try and take some pictures of my snap system if you are curious. Here is my suit:

Thanks for the help guys.

Tea, your suit looks great, who is the maker of the helmet?

Could you please post some more pics of the original suit?

I will post pics of mine as soon as it´s ready.

Best,

Thanks DIF!

The helmet is made by a guy named Scott (Ickabel), I personally was not happy with it.. due to a few inaccuracies (circular top, rather than oval shaped; flat back, rather than rounded; a few missing/inaccurate greeblies). After a good bit of work though, the finished product didn't turn out too bad, and I suppose the general public doesn't notice those things anyway. He might have improved it since, but you might want to look elsewhere.

There is no question that Todd's (Sandman) (http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=38148) helmet is the BEST out there right now. I purchased one of his kits and was blown away by the quality and attention to detail. Sadly I haven't had the time to finish it... but... it's incredible!

Anyway, enough rambling.

Here is the reference I've gathered: http://mr-tea.com/boushh/ref/

I'm still working on my own helmet, as I have been for probably 15 years. I really need to just get it done and move on.
