I had to use multiple applications of 4 different chemicals and a lot of time on the buffing wheel burnishing the patina into the surface of the metal but I think the look was worth it

Let me know

Thanks

I use the following chemicals

  • A solution of Nitric Acid and Alcohol call Nitrol
  • Perma Blue
  • Perma-black
  • Plum Brown

I applied all of the chemicals to the entire part and used a buffing wheel to burnish the finish into the surface of the metal.

Looks terrific!
I had gotten you to do the chemical weathering on my emitter a little while back and I still love the way it looks.

Thanks for the info. I plan to put this to good use very soon, though unfortunately it won't be on a RR grenade/bp.
