Korbanth Super Star Destroyer

Hello folks,

I am just about to be finished with my Randy Cooper SD (more than 300 hours into that) and want to tackle Korbanth's SSD next.

I already ordered .25mm fiberoptics and blue LEDs for the superstructure lights.

I have seen pictures of the SSD with pink/purple engine glow, but when watching the movies, they always look red to me.

What would you say?

Did anybody here built a Korbanth SSD? The only built up I have seen so far is this one: http://stardestroyerproject.com/SSD.aspx

Awesome work there, but the pictures are a little small. I would really love bigger pics of the finished model.

Huh?

Does nobody have an opinion wether the engine glow on the SSD looks red or purple?

It looks reddish/orange in the movie so i'd go for that. BTW, The SSD is one of my all time fave ships, i damn well nearly peed myself when i saw the real thing at the Art of Star Wars do at the Barbican years ago.

Good luck, can't wait to see progress shots!!!
