U-boat Tiefenmasser Depth Gauge?

Someone has asked if I can replicate a Tiefenmasser Depth Gauge for a project:

Are there any resources, measurements, paper templates etc. out there already for this 'prop'?

I'd like to do it as easily and inexpensively as possible for them.

If it´s got to be on the cheap side then I´d say do it with plastic drainage elements and some paint.

I think the "Wempe" clock company did and still does maritime measuring equipment, might be worth a look.
