How to remove "Master Replica" logo off saber?

I have a MR Luke V2 saber.

Has anyone safely removed the info printed on the bottom of the hilt?

If so, how did you do it?? :)
 
Yep, nail polish remover will whisk it right off. It also will remove the weather they do on the sabers as well to leave a nice shiny chrome/gold finish.
 
I just removed the letters with Lighter fluid and a Q-Tip. Nice tip! :)

(it was on a Force FX Anakin saber)
 
Acetone, denatured alchol, lacquer thinner did NOT work! :unsure

On examination under a magnifying glass I found the problem.

The logo info is NOT painted on..... it is laser etched into the metal.

So I sanded it off. :eek

Ta-da! The weathering has begun! :lol
