Tom Servo parts

I've been wanting to build a Tom Servo for a long time now....any parts (or replicated parts) still available anywhere? I know the gumball machine is still out there..but what about the rest?

There's a "Botshop" on eBay that has recasts of the rarer parts for all the bots on the show. I'm not sure if they're still up but it's worth a shot. Kinda pricey though, but if I had the scratch I'd build both the fellas AND Gypsy.

I've got pretty much an original one of everything for all the big 3 bots. What do you need?

Is there enough interest to start producing these?

The C More Buns mooning figure (arm & arm springs) is still out there too.
Some people have used the old large-sized barrel of monkeys barrel for the torso, tho it is a little tall and narrower.
The Eveeady flashlight used for the shoulder bells are often finds at thrift stores & garage sales.

Joe Crow at http://www.joecrow.com/servo.htm has resin / vacform parts, or you can buy one fully assembled & painted for ya.

I requested an unfinished kit / set of parts. Apart from the resin arm pieces being kinda rough, the rest was just fine! The arm springs are coiled wire, so care has to be taken with those, unless ya grab a C More.
Oh, I didn't get a lazy-susan bearing, but I had no problem without it.

"I'm huge!"

I've since replaced the arm springs for C More ones.

I found both a gumball machine and a lazy-susan bearing in a fleemarket. Im thinking of vacuumforming a pair of shoulders and scratchbuilding a barrel.

I've long wanted to have the bots.

I never found any parts fopr Tom but many moons ago my mom handed me a full set of 10 Empire bowling pins. which I sold to Joe Crow (I should have traded for a Servo kit) and I also found Gypsy's Century car seat, years back at my Church's 2nd hand shop. Still have that one.

At work there is a 2 foot gap between the back wall of my cubical and the real wall of the building. I've daydreamed that it would be a great place to set up a shelf for displaying the bots with a sensor to activate some animation and a sound board so that anyone entering my area receives a cheery hello from the bots in their own voices.

The danger of course is that it might freak out the night guard.

I already built a tom and crow, but it was so much fun I wanted to do it again. I might be in for some parts!

Yeah, some of the remaining vendors out there have priced the botbuilding hobby past the point of sustainability, IMO. I'm set for Crow, but all I have for Tom is the head, hands and one Everready hood. Would love an opportunity to get the rest at more sensible prices.

I've had my Tom built but poor Crow has been waiting now for about 8 years or so. :lol

Got about everything but the lamp parts, the Cooper hockey mask, and the soap dish.

C'mon Sarge we could used some reasonably priced bot parts!

The hockey mask is way too heavy. if we could get a lightweight replica i would so be in. Crows head wants to spin arond if you lean him slightly.

Would it be possible to replicate the hockey mask in say styrene rod if there were a pattern to follow? I bet some industrious RPF'er could manage a flat pack or a set of blueprints.

I'd love to get my Servo finished. All I have are the dispenser and the trains so I would be in for the rest of the parts.
