I been putting together the kits necessary to build the 3-ft ESB falcon, my question is which is the best thickness for the basic form, styrene 0.80" or 1/8"

I used 1/8" masonite for the base shape then applied thin sheets of plastic to cover it up. make sure the finish surface thickness of the sidewalls is at or close to 1".
