Studio-scale Buck Rogers QUAD Starfighter

Your Quad fighter looks great! I was just planning to build one. It would save me a lot of time if you dropped that canopy in some rubber.

You have been prolific of late, haven't you? Good job.

The actual piece for the filming miniature was nothing more than a hollow shell (not sure if it was vac-formed or if it was assembled from flat sheets) that was placed on top of the main body. (The narrow canopy was removed and a part of it was glued to the back of the quad.)

There was no relief, save for a couple of detail parts glued on. All the panel lines were in fact drawn in pencil. The windows were just painted - including the reflections.

So, if you want to do this - you sorta have to do what Mark did. The windows do need to be painted black. Otherwise, you have a LOT of Dremelling to do to make the four seat cockpit.

Neat way to 'pimp' your Starfighter/Thunderfighter.
