Has anyone ID'd this BSG ribbed and textured rubber?

I could use ribbed rubber mat/sheeting, but to be more accurate I'd love to know if anyone has identified this ribbed and textured rubber(?) material used on the cuffs and vest of the BSG Deck Crew coveralls?

It almost looks like conveyor belt material but that stuffs usually pretty heavy and thick (and hard to sew through - I've used it for shoe soles before and have trying to push a needle through it.)

I know that use to have that same stuff at my home Depot some time ago.. used it for Vader shoe soles.
