Doom (2016) Praetor Suit and Cacocdemon

Seeing as its the one year anniversary of the game I thought id finally get around to sharing some pictures of our DOOM costumes from Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo last month. We ended up taking home best craftsmanship in the masters division in the costume contest.

I will be working on blueprints and trying to make the full doom arsenal throughout the next year or so. If you are interested you can follow us on instagram @Thecosmicmonster and @bittydionysus for progress updates.




This is the first of my weapon blueprints, its not perfect by any means but we only go up from here.

Nice! I wanna build this but I think with my skinny frame I would have to make a muscle suit also.

Im really slim myself, so I had to build out the frame to be more accurate, the shoulders be have kind of like a puppet since they are so large,

How did you make the templates to make the suit? It looks like EVA foam at a glace.

I too am about to start a Doom suit, I was thinking EVA. Is that what you used?
