I am a long time miniature painter. While I do collect props I have never really tried to make one. Threw Tested I was introduced to the book series SM.01. This book teaches a technique of weathering for model vehicles. I was scared to try this tech on my actual model tanks so i thought that as a test I would 3D print a prop and try it out. Here is my result. This is 13 layers of paint with hair spray in between and 2 colors of a final wash. Except for the wash the paint was applied by air brush and then weathered with a hand brush.
