Prop making tutorial book

I love books, but this site along with YouTube are such great resources when it comes to prop making that a book might not be able to match, especially as you have people documenting their builds and often shooting video to support their build ups.
Yeah, I understand. I was thinking of something like a recipe book where there are projects to choose from and it would tell you what skill level would be required, how much time, and what materials and tools would be needed. I was thinking of something I could take to the family and pick some projects with them.

Have you checked out http://www.instructables.com? People are better about step by step guides there.
