I'm addicted to building cosplay and I decided to make a spiderman raimi proto-suit, better known as the Human spider, or wrestler suit. Here's a ref.

So here I go. I started with a plain red shirt and I drawn the symbole on the back with a sharpie...

I bought a pair of blue pants to paint red lines on the side...

Finished red stripes. Took me about 5-6 layers of acrylic paint. Unfortunately I had a little bit of paint going under the (crappy) masking tape on my right leg, but I dont think people will notice it. (also I made 1 large stripe instead of 2 small)

Very cool, im interested to see how you make the mask. That was the one piece that gave me the most headache with on my build.

I used a balaclava pattern which matches the movie pretty well. I had issues with the face hole stitching and seam.

I'm done with the suit, I got the mask from ebay and it looks great, I made the gloves, and I bought a pair of red shoes. now it's late so I'll post pics tomorow

Hey if anyone needs the pants for the outfit, but doesn't want to paint the red lines on blue sweats, I have a solution for that.

I got these for my Human Spider cosplay I did last year and they are AMAZING! They're just a slight bit darker than the pants look in the film, but I think they still look perfect for it.
