MPC Star Destroyer - Long Term Project

I'm currently working on the Zvezda SD, but I had started a MPC Star Destroyer about a two years ago. I knew it was going to be a long term project, and I would get side tracked with other models. I was originally going to light the SD, but since then I've decided to scrap that plan (I'm lighting my Zvezda SD anyways).

I've sanded off all the bumps and panel lines, and all the details on the sides of the superstructure. I've been using different styrene shapes to build up the details the superstructure based off photos of the Avenger Studio Model. I picked up some upgraded bridge, trench sidewalls, shield generators, hangers bays, engine nozzles and some photoetch hull details. It's been really slow going. I thought I'd share some photos of the progress I've made.

I'll eventually post more once I get back to working on this.
