Friday the 13th part II pickax

I need some help with my part II pickax. I want to make the head out of foam but I'm not sure which kind of foam I should use. Little help?.
 
I would go with EVA or florist foam, then coat it with plasti dip once you are done shaving/shaping the foam. EVA you can order online. Florist foam you can pick up at craft stores, walmart or online. Remember to use a face mask when working with these foams.
