the biggest crappy series endings

I think mine would have to be the ending to Lost.... Darn that was disappointing...

Sent from my KYOCERA-E6560 using Tapatalk

second... if they had the chance to do season 7 i think things would have been difference. 6 was doomed from the start, trying to sew up so many lose ends in less then 20 episodes... so many show mechanics changed as well...

originally ben was cursed by jacob, jacob hoping for ben to finally leave the island. ben fell in love with a girl, the girl gets pregnant and jacob curses ben with the island not allowing people to give birth on the island... jacob cursing him with the same way ben's mother died, this enraged ben turning him into the island nazi we know him as..

mr eco was suppose to be the man in black.... but he went on to better things like the mummy 2.... forcing the plot to change once again.... the LOST encyclopedia did a lot of sewing up lose ends..

still liked the original plan until it changed... i was still hoping the island was a part of atlantis..

besides Ben, Locke was my favorite, i hated jack, until jack took the role of locke... the whole "flash side ways" with them being in a alternate universe, which to my understanding was a world where you wait until your ready to move on to the next part of life? just stupid... didnt care for it at all... so many possibilities... so many options

after dedicating, and i me DEDICATING 5 years of my life living and breathing, getting kicked off of every lost forum there was, debating every possible situation and theory... i talked about this show EVERY day for 5 years... only to be let down with season 6... i make up my own ending to it...

if your a big fan the encyclopedia is a great read. we learn so much, like how only 216 members of dharma are allowed on the island at once, 216 in half is 108, one of the magic lost numbers. we also learn daniel faraday is the brain behind building the lamp post station in 1977 which they use in 2004 to return back to the island

NOTHING is suppose to be excavated from the island, along with its artifacts touched. this is why the stations underground weren't known by the "others". they were under agreement with the "others" so these under ground secret stations were against their agreement and all info kept off record..

we also learn "mother" was a smoke monster as well (which i didnt like, give her the powers of the island but she didnt need to be a smoke monster too... took away the value of the man in black, who's name is barry supposedly i dont know if thats canon or not)

for the record this is the only tv series to make me shed a tear when jack laid down with vincent and watched Katie fly over him at the end.. LOL this reminds me!! the total chaos the internet was.

remember we see the plane fly over, jack closes his eye and the screen goes black and quiet. then we see a plane crashed on the beach and the credits rolling. so many people thought the plane crashed and the pilot, kate, richard and kate were all dead lol when it was just the original plane from the original crash. bad editing on that one! LOL

I'm especially pissed about Lost. I (like everyone else) said from Season 1 that they were in Purgatory. Writers were like nope, not purgatory. Series Finale? Purgatory

the writers lied to us every season... the fans feed them all their stories. you'd hear all these crazy theories about time travel, 2 islands, the island moving.. the writers then stole the ideas after telling us NOPE! and used it lol

very frustrating times back then! lol the whole purgatory thing i have to say i felt really ripped off... since we were lied to for 6 years

anyone else here watch Revolution? i thought the first season was promising! then second season was like "what the hell happened?!" every episode sucked... i kept telling my girlfriend at the time im done watching this crap... but stuck it out. then the finale episode of season 2 sucked all the fans back in!! only to be disappointed that season 3 was cancelled

supposedly there is a 4 issue digital comic out there somewhere closing it off

Yep....

Just makes my blood boil.

Enterprise. Killing off Tripp was a punk move. He had faced countless more threatening scenarios and made it out.

Lost, agreed......crappy ending.

little of topic but if you play video games, the final Uncharted game went out in style. Pure class.

Ill throw in Breaking Bad. WW really needed to be living it up on a private island and Jessie got straight and owned and ran a Rehab facility for the stars.

Deadwood. Oh wait, I'm still waiting for the ending.

Another victim of Chris Albrecht's early 2000s misadventures (see also, Carnivale).

Taking his dads classic bike with him pissed me off !!!

To be fair, Sons of Anarchy was (A) crappy misery porn for at least two seasons prior to that, and (B) based on Hamlet, so you knew at some point Jax was gonna have flights of (Hells?) angels singing him to his rest.

still crap. realy liked SG-U

Actually, I found it, by far, to be the worst Stargate series. They were trying to mix Stargate with Battlestar Galactica, which is an awful combination. Stargate was a positive, fun series. SGU was dark, dank crap.

Yeah I enjoyed the first season after that it seemed like random B.S.
But still why the bike ? Go out on your run of the mill 03 not a classic 46 , he should have left that for little teller damn it . but a but NO! dum dum to the end

I'm that rare cat who didn't mind the Lost ending.

Chuck disaappointed me. I really wanted it to have a happy ending with the hot babe.
And Enterprise. Season 4 was going so well until that.

My wife and I tried to get into SoA, but we felt it was just a bad soap opera with motorcycles.

I viewed it mainly as Hamlet-meets-the-Godfather-on-motorcycles. The first couple of seasons were pretty good. The trip to Ireland kinda started the downhill slide, although I didn't mind that plot arc, myself. After that, though, the quality of the stories (not the acting! Always great acting on the show) went into decline.

The Hamlet part became more and more stretched out, with Jax forever delaying his revenge (and his own inevitable demise) because the plot got in the way. The episodes became bloated, often running some 70 min a piece, WITHOUT commercials, and almost always featuring some musical montage (usually sung by Katey Sagal -- nice at first, annoying after a while) where we pan across the various characters and see what joys and miseries they're enduring.

The finale -- which I didn't watch because I'd grown tired of the show very early into the final season -- basically ended the way it had to plot-wise, but in typical overblown fashion.

It's a shame, too, because Kurt Sutter has written some great stuff. But the show just devolved into a parade of sorrows for its characters to an almost pornographic degree, where the point was to watch them suffer, rather than watching that suffering as part of some larger message or story or whathaveyou. Even aside from that, it just seemed to succumb to excess.

I stopped watching SOA early in the final season for pretty much all the same reasons. Such a shame. I wanted to stick it out but I just didn't care about any of the characters anymore.

Chuck, like most shows, just went on too long. It never should have had that last half-season to wrap things up. They didn't use it to answer questions and provide a good ending, they kept on making the same half-ass show that it had become.

I'm also someone who wasn't sure about ENTERPRISE when it started, but ended up liking it as it went on. The finale turned the entire series into nothing more than a holodeck simulation (my interpretation), and turned the entire starring cast into nothing more than glorified guest stars in their own series. :angry :thumbsdown
