Hey guys,

I am looking at molding and casting my scratchbuilt r2 dome. Looking for what silicone would be best for this? Im looking to cast in gelcoat and fiberglass.

I was also looking at mold max 30, and mold max stroke.

Brush up? How many are you looking to cast? How experienced are you?

Mold Max 30 is usually my personal go to, but MS 20T has its benefits for newer users but at a considerable difference in cost.

Im pretty experienced. Been mold making for years. Only making 3 casts from this mold. Nothing crazy.

I have done alot of work with Mold Max 30 over the past year or two, but have never messed with Mold Max Stroke. Seems as though MM30 would be the best option

I have never had a reason to use Mold Max Stroke. I have heard it is a bigger pain than it's worth and just never tried it. Mold Max 30 is certainly a great option.
