I finally got around to finishing up My chest buster shifter knob recently. Im very happy with the way it turned out. Although it sadly happened in conjunction with the loss of both Bill Paxton and John Hurt.
Material is sculpey/ super sculpey firm I originally made both arms and chicken wings but the arms (thanks to crap paint) didnt survive the molding process.. I will most likely resculpt them at some point.
**Disclaimer*** Rustoleum spray paint has changed its formula, and will now cause platinum cure silicones to "remain wet" in about a 1-2mm area surrounding it. I ended up with what appeared to be a cured mold only to find a gooey mess surrounding ruined sculpts. Ive used it with success in the past, and at first thought it was something else causing problems. But after a bit of testing Im certain its the paint. If you plan on using silicone. I dont recommend using it as a sealer.
And heres a few finished pieces..
